Western Lady Ferry Service World renowned for its operation, maintenance and care of the last surviving Fairmile B Motor Launches, from World War II, in full commercial service until 2007 - that is 60 years with the Western Lady Ferry Service. Without such devoted care and attention these boats - initially built to last no more than 8 - 10 years would have passed into history with no survivors in the UK The company agonised for a long time about having to let them go but is justifiably proud to have allowed for the survival of Western Lady III & IV and to see them continue under new ownership.
Now continuing with their long history of operating a Torbay Ferry with their newer, purpose built passenger ferry vessels “Western Lady VI” and “Western Lady VII”
